McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP is an international law firm with over 400 lawyers and public policy advisors and offices in Atlanta, Brussels, Denver, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco and Washington, DC. The firm was formed by the merger of the government contracts powerhouse McKenna & Cuneo and one of the leading firms in the Southeast region, Long Aldridge & Norman.

The Challenge
McKenna Long & Aldridge needed to implement a new look and feel for the newly-merged firm, transfer over 800 pages of web site content from the old legacy web sites to the new web site, provide user-friendly navigation to access over 80 practice areas and 25 sub-practice areas, integrate customized features to maximize usability and marketing dollars, and launch the database-driven site in less than 4 months.

Firmseek's Solution

• Built a third-generation site for MLA full of cutting-edge and customized features.
• Provided targeted marketing to potential and existing clients through the use of practice-specific attorney bios. The content changes depending on how the user accesses the bio, i.e., if the user clicks on an attorney's bio from the Environmental practice area page, the bio that appears has environmental-specific information highlighted.
• Created PDF marketing materials that can be printed directly from the web site with all changes to the web site reflected in real-time in the PDFs.
• Integrated a customized photo upload feature for high-resolution or low-resolution photos for attorney bios and the summer associate photo gallery.
• Launched the site in less than 4 months.
